We are very close to the water - expect to see wildlife including bugs, lizards, birds, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and the occasional deer. Regular pest treatments are done both inside and out but it is very easy for pests to slip into the house if doors or windows are left open.

If entering the hot tub or pool after swimming in the lake, guests must rinse off. There is an inverted shower on the pool deck for guests to use.
